Review:
I don't have very much info on this band (I can't seem to find their
bio), but I'll be looking them up because these guys rock! Big heavy
rock with some hints of rap/rock. While you can hear several influences
in their music, they still have a very original sound. The singer's
voice is original, the arrangements are original, the songwriting is
original...everything! It's so refreshing to hear something that's
original, but very good. The "Water Pipe Bong" song is some of the
funniest shit I've ever heard. "But Me" has such a great message that I
really connected with. "Stand Alone" is heavy and inspirational all in
one. What a great disc...I hope these guys stick around for a long time.
Favorite Tracks:
"Water Pipe Bong"; "But Me"; "Stand Alone"; "Brings Me Down"; "Simple
Man" - yes, the Lynyrd Skynryd song, pretty good version
Least Favorite Tracks:
"Save Me"; "Time is Standing Still"
Booklet:
Nice package, lot's of pictures, full lyrics and stuff
