I'm going to do a rating system on where this cd will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" cd rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to often rack" to go through every once in a while.
4 Stars.... I'll let run while I'm working....
5 Stars.. My girlfriend will have to sit through it even though she doesn't know the bands....

MICHAEL SWEET
S/T

Review: The band Stryper is very familiar to me. I have Styper music, I enjoy Styper music, so I was looking forward to listening to solo music from the lead singer of the Styper, Michael Sweet.
This cd was released in 1994 and it sounds every bit dated today. Listening to all 10 tracks while trying to remain interested was very difficult. I never would have imagined this music would be such a disappointment. I have to say this though-Michael still has a powerful voice!!
If you enjoy BIG CHORUS' that remind you of Jovi and Leppard, simple hairband music, the monster ballads and production that is very polished, then this cd is made for you eardrums. Michael provides all of that and then some.
Michael did not take any risks here, as each song sounded like something other bands have done prior to '94, including his own band.

Favorite Tracks: All This and Heaven Too" is by far the strongest track on the cd.

Least Favorite Tracks: "Take Me Home", "Someday"

Booklet: N/A...this is a promo copy...no booklet
