I'm going to do a rating system on where this D.V.D. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" D.V.D. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "watch often" to go through every once in a while.
4 Stars.... I'll let run while I'm working....
5 Stars.. My girlfriend will have to sit through it even though she doesn't know the bands....

JUDAS PRIEST
BRITISH STEEL

By Spidey

Review: Judas Priest is by far the most influential METAL band ever.. and this DVD is the beginning of the whole new sound revolution of Metal... The DVD breaks down some of the biggest songs off British Steel.. "Breaking the Law", one of the best Priest songs ever... and probably the first one I ever remember hearing... "United" which has footage from a TV appearance, "Metal Gods" includes some live footage along with them breaking down what all the sound effects are in the background of the song.. "Living After Midnight".. just a classic,  "Grinder" which has bonus live from Rio footage. and "The Rage"... There is also bonus fetures with tons more interviews, live stuff.. and videos for "Living After Midnight" and "Breaking the Law".. All in all this not only covers JUST the British Steel c.d., it covers the history.. along with the present time (with Ripper on vocals).. this is a great collectible for the die hard fans, and a great education DVD for the everyone who is new to the METAL GODS!

Favorite part of the DVD: Rob talking about leaving the band, and becoming friends again years later... Also like the footage of Glen and K.K. playing in a rehearsal studio together.. jammin to each of the songs.. also has footage of Rob with really long hair from wayyy back in the day.. pretty funny stuff...
And I'm glad they threw in a long interview w/Scott Travis.. he's one of my favorite drummers.. and in the bonus stuff they talk about him joining.. and how he hooked up Ripper getting the gig to replace Rob.

Least favorite part: Not seeing Rob hang with the other members of the band..

Booklet: Like all the Classic Album DVD's, only a song list...
