I'm going to do a
rating system on where this D.V.D. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" D.V.D. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "watch often" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... I'll let run while I'm working....
5 Stars.. My girlfriend will have to sit through it even though she doesn't know
the bands....

Review: Well since Motley Crue is my favorite band.. This should be a really high review.. BUT... to me it just wasn't the strongest tour they ever did.. and to think all the years w/Tommy and no cool live DVD... but anyway, nothing crazy here.. in fact.. its sooo LEWD they cover the nudity... but they play basically all the oldies but goodies.. along with a bunch off of New Tattoo which is cool ... Randy Castillo played on New Tattoo so there is some interview footage with him, but the concert actually has Samantha Maloney of Hole playing drums... she kicks ass.. and stays true to Tommy.. which is very important to me.. :) All in all it's a cool Crue show.. so if your a fan, pick it up and add it to your collection.. if your a new fan.. look me up.. I have some really cool bootlegs.... lol The only reason this is getting 4 stars.. is the extra interview/behind the scenes.. etc.
Favorite part of DVD: I love all the behind the scenes stuff.. the "making of New Tattoo" and the "backstage of the Maximum Rock tour.." I wish they would just release that kind of stuff like on the first home video they did.. "Unconcerned" or the AMAZING home video Decade of Decadence.. but nevermind.. back to this Lewd (NOT) Crued (ya they are on there) and Tattooed.. (well we know they have tats..) review... I can tell it's 5 am while I'm writing this one.. cause I'm getting cranky about it.
Least favorite part: Well lets see.. maybe the fact that it's Motley Crue.. and ALL THE NUDITY IS COVERED.. HELLO.... How LEWD is this ... everything is blurred out.. couldnt they make 2 versions.. and not block it out for us ADULTS WHO EXPECT TO SEE IT..... ok.. I'm yelling too much.. at least if your not gonna show it, tell the camera man to stay off the naked people in the crowd.. anyway, enough of that.. my other least favorite part was the certain drummer missing.. nuff said.
Case: There isn't one.. was I jipped... did someone gank it.. how can Motley Crue release a DVD without some kind of booklet thingy.. pictures.. credits.. something... sheesh......
