WAKING UP DEAD
By JRock Review: Wow.. I've waited years to finally see and review this DVD, and I've already watched it twice... It's all here, the good the bad, and the ugly.. Its Behind the Music on crack, or should I say coke.. The movie shows the life of Phil Varone, from the early Saigon Kick days, to the 4 years he spent in Skid Row... backstage, onstage, on the bus.. in hotel rooms.. but it's not showing the funny hanging out stuff your used to on a Skid Row home video.. but instead it's showing the truth.. and the amount of drugs he is inducing.. along with the disappearance of all funds he may have had.. All in all this is the real truth about wanting to be a Rockstar.. and all the perks that come along with it!. It's a must see for our generation and those coming up, wanting to be stars! Favorite part of the DVD: I love the extras, the walking around backstage.. and the forever babble during a long drug interview.. It also has tome footage writing music w/Saigon Kick singer Matt Kramer Least favorite part: The end.. well I also don't like when sometimes the Skids guys are covered up while on screen but on other places, they are not.... hmmm? Booklet: Cool cover... that's about it.. no booklet, etc.. Website: www.WakingUpDeadMovie.com Where you
