- SO PETE, LAST TIME WE TALKED WAS ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO... WAYY BACK WHEN
MUSICMAYHEM.COM JUST STARTED..
YOU HAD RELEASED YOUR FIRST
SOLO ALBUM.. 'BE OF THIS TIME'.. HAVE YOU DONE ANY OTHER RECORDINGS
SINCE THEN...
Pete - I did a couple of
trax for a live Trixter album that will be coming out hopefully soon.
they are older songs that never made it onto a record but the songs
are great. There may also be a brand new song on there as well......

Their cd's feature a lot
of well known singers and musicians on each track. It's a cool
concept... Soundtrack Of A Soul was the first CD and
Independence Day is the other.

Pete - No plans...but I
really want to do another one ASAP...
J - NOW THE BIG NEWS JUST

THERE IS GOING TO BE A
TRIXTER REUNION..
HOW DID THIS COME ABOUT...
WHO MADE THE FIRST MOVE...
Pete - Last January
Steve Brown and a couple of mutual friends of ours went to the
NAMM convention in
California...huge convention that goes on every year.. I heard
they were going and invited myself and met them out there. This
convention takes up three floors of the convention center, its really
big.... as Steve and I walked around checking out the show, people
were coming up to us and saying "hey you guys were in Trixter" and
things like that...it made us think....and being that now, bands from
that era are going out and doing shows and getting treated great...we
figured what better time than now for a reunion......
J - WILL IT BE ALL ORIGINAL
MEMBERS, PJ, STEVE, MARK...
Pete - It will be all
original members...we all agreed from the start that original members
is the only way that we will do it.....
J- WILL THERE BE A NEW
ALBUM....
Pete -
There will be a new
CD....lots of live songs on there along with a new, or several new
songs.....we will see....lots of stuff to co-inside
 with
the shows...
J - HAVE YOU STARTED
RECORDING ANYTHING YET..
Pete - Yes, lots of it
has been finished...some things still yet to be finished....
J- WHERE ARE YOU ALL LIVING

J - HOW WILL THE MUSIC HAVE
CHANGED, SINCE YOU ALL WENT SEPARATE WAYS, AND HAVE GROWN...
Pete - Without a doubt
it will be better...everyone has grown musically....seriously...I'm
singing better than i ever have....

- CAN YOU STILL SING ALL THOSE OLDIE BUT GOODIES, YOUR VOICE SEEMS TO
NOT BE AS HIGH THESE DAYS..LOL..
Pete - Ill be just
fine....its that style of music that has a higher range of
singing....normally I choose not to sing so high...its no big deal...a
bottle of anything and a glazed donut and I'm good to go!! ......the
screaming here and there may be a challenge.....ha ha!
J - HOW IS EVERYONE GETTING
ALONG AFTER ALL THIS TIME..
Pete - We
have all yet to be in the same room....since...ummmm 94?????
J - IF YOUR TOURING.. WILL
YOU BE DOING ANY OF YOUR SOLO STUFF.. OR WILL THE REST OF THE GUYS BE
DOING SONGS FROM THE BANDS THEY HAVE BEEN IN ....
Pete - Its gonna be all Trixter....maybe a Tom Jones song or two but mostly Trixter
J - WILL IT BE A ONE SHOT
DEAL.. OR STICK IT OUT FOR A WHILE...
Pete - We will see how
it goes....ride the wave ya know....

THAT PEOPLE CAN KEEP IN CONTACT WITH YOU....
J - INTO ANY NEW BANDS...
Pete - I'm into lots of new
stuff....Stone Sour, Sevendust...Velvet Revolver...lots more....but
I'm not a big go out to the store and buy a CD type of
thing....Itunes....ya know.... ill hear a song and go, who's that??
and bam..Itunes! right to the
Ipod and into the car....
J - WHAT WOULD BE IN YOUR
CD PLAYER RIGHT NOW....
Pete - Got a sampler of
the new Ours....produced by Rick Rubin....really good..should be out
in March.....I got the
Ipod with me always....and there is A LOT of stuff on there....
J - GONE TO ANY GOOD
CONCERTS LATELY.....
Pete - Yup....Hannah
Montana/ Miley Cyrus.....really good show...the Miley songs are really
really good!! and shes a sweetheart....the Cryus family are awesome
people! and good friends...
J - DID YOU KNOW KEVIN
DUBROW AND DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS FOR HIS LOSS.....
Pete - I
did not know him... its a tragedy....he seemed to be doing very
well.....
J - HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT
MP3 DOWNLOADING, AND FILE SHARING....
Pete - I buy my
songs.....I don't often copy a CD from anyone......but I have...I'm
really into good quality as well and a lot of times that file sharing
isn't great quality...and its unsafe.... people who go nuts and do all
the file sharing and bootlegging movies and all, they don't really
care about quality.. they just seem to enjoy not having to pay.. hey
we all go to work....don't we all expect to get paid???
