I'm going to do
a rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: It's been a while since I've popped in a c.d. and liked it right away, with the first run through.. But American Dog has outdone themselves.. This c.d. kicks ass from beginning to end.. it's raw, aggressive, bluesy.. AC/DC meets ZZ Top... w/a bit of alcohol to fuel this 100% REAL red blooded American Rock N Roll.... I've always been a fan.. ever since Michael was in Salty Dog, but the band just keeps growing musically, and lyrically.. and they just JAM... the guitar solos are not missing from this album in any way.. sometimes I feel like I'm at the show.. I can just feel the live essence of the music, the production is perfect, as is the c.d. GREAT JOB guys.. keep it up... We need REAL rock n roll like this..
Favorite song(s): Love the kick of the first song "Workin' Man"... "Faded" just gets stuck in my head, and I'm humming it all day.. the guitar work in "Lucky" is amazing.. "She Ain't Real Pretty" is a trip... I love all the songs.
Least favorite song: NONE.
Booklet: PERFECT, this is how they should all be.. Great cover, then opens up and unfolds to a 6 page collage of pictures of friends, family, and fans.. then on the other side, song lyrics, and credits..etc..
