I'm going to do a
rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: This is an interesting album, I thought it was going to be "new" David Lee Roth songs.. but instead it's Dave taking some oldies but goodies and making them David Lee Roth style.. and I'm happy to say it's great! I can't get enough of this c.d.. Its not like anything else he has done except maybe Crazy From the Heat.. with that poppy fun style. This c.d. covers everything from Steve Miller Band , Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and even the Beatles.. along with a remake of "Ice Cream Man" he did on Van Halen's first c.d. only these versions are more jazzy, hippie style.. I guess his performances in Vegas really wore off on him. There is also a couple new songs.. one is just him laughing in the studio, which is kinda funny.. then there is a harp solo.. and one full new song "Thug Pop" which is a great "rocker song"..The band is also amazing with players such as Greg Bissonette (old DLR line-up) James Hunting from Union and James LoMenzo of White Lion. THis isn't for the "hard rock" David Lee ROth fans.. but if your a fan of all his work, this is something new, and different from him, very experimental.. and it turned out making a fun album!
Booklet: This is a full color five page fold out.. full of pictures, and song credits.. etc. great booklet!
Favorite Song: I love his version of "Soul Kitchen"..love the guitar work.. "Let it all Hang Out" love his deep voice in this one..
Least Favorite Song: I can't really think of any I don't like.. but the track of him laughing gets to me after a while..
