Review: This c.d. is just a sample of what's in store for the Dope guys this year, and if the rest of it is anything like this.. it's going to kick ass! I put this c.d. on and just rocks! It has a thick rocking sound.. and this rare sample c.d. is a trip cause it has porn star Jasmine St.Clair doing little skits in between the songs.. and being a porn star, I'm sure you can guess what those skits are.. (I will be giving away some of these rare samplers.. check the front page of the site).. But back to the songs, they are groove orientated, great riffs.. catchy lyrics.. heavy but still very understandable.. If your not a Dope fan.. you will be and if you are.. your going to love this new c.d.!
Booklet: This is just a sample c.d. so I have no idea what the real thing will look like.. but any cover w/a chick busting out.. works for me!
Favorite Song: Or Songs I should say.. I love every single track on here its just great heavy.. ass kicking rock n roll.. there is even a slower song.. don't know if I would call it a ballad.. but it also kicks ass...I also love the first track on here, "Bitch" it caught me from the very start.. good first song!
Least Favorite Song: NONE.

Fan Reviews:
I have had the cd for about 2 1/2 weeks and been listening to it
for the whole time. I have to say that I am very F****** impressed.
In fact, I F****** love it. Dope
has accomplished another masterpiece. I got on the Dope bandwagon before
there was one and I don't plan
on ever getting off. I have to love Dope more and more with every new
song. I liked all the songs on
the sampler and can't wait for the whole cd to come out. What hooked me
was the memories and emotions
that every song dredged up. I also liked how, in my opinion,
"Burn" had a kind of throwback Ministry feel.
Another accomplishment for these songs was that they didn't quit or let up
like so much of today's other
material. I liked that the Dope sound is still evolving and pushing into
something that was just that
much better than the last. Most bands can't accomplish this. I said
that I hope Dope never quits
and I don't believe it ever will, not when it has enough energy and momentum to
breakdown all walls and
obstacles that hinder the others. To paraphrase, I love it...Another
masterpiece...You should love it too.

Overall I think
the cd was awesome! :) I like how the tracks can be very different yet still
have the same signature DOPE sound. I enjoyed every track and am looking
forward to getting the full cd here in a few weeks. I'm impressed with how DOPE
is changing and evolving as a band, but still putting out awesome songs. I would
recommend anyone going and picking up the new cd when it comes out... I am
positive we will not be disappointed! \m/

"Bitch" wasn't much of a surprise being that I've heard it hundreds of times, so
while singing along... I realize... what? Different version? "Falling Away",
definitely a good song. It reminds me of the Life CD... if this is the first
track on their CD, it would be a great starter. I've heard "Motivation" sooo
many times live but I never thought it would sound this phenomenal recorded. "I
Am" is perhaps one of my favorites, it's so inspirational and it makes me want
to go out somewhere, be myself and say FUCK YOU to everyone who doesn't like
it. That's why I love Dope so much, no other band has influenced me more to be
myself and not care what other people think. Which is probably what they were
thinking when they wrote "Burn". I don't know that any band would have the guts
to say what they say in that song, in fear of being flamed and put down by the
critics. Dope doesn't give a crap what anybody thinks about their point of
view. Every Dope CD has their heavy kill-all song. "DieMFDie", and "Sick"...
and now "Burn". I love it. It's awesome live, too. :) I had to double check
about "Another Day Goes By", because in the booklet for "Life", the lyrics for
this is written out at the end. I thought the words sounded familiar... but it
definitely is my favorite so far, even if it is mellow and I think I even hear
an acoustic guitar..? It's such a good song. It makes me want to sit back and
rethink my whole life and make it so much better. I love how Dope has this
impact on me.
So, this CD is definitely full of surprises. From a different version of
"Bitch", all the way to a mellow song (I've heard that there is also a few more
of those on the CD). It will definitely be worth every penny of the thirteen
dollars. Not to mention the thirteen videos that will also be on the CD to
accompany the songs.
