I'm going to do a rating system on where this D.V.D. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" D.V.D. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "watch often" to go through every once in a while.
4 Stars.... I'll let run while I'm working....
5 Stars.. My girlfriend will have to sit through it even though she doesn't know the bands....

SKID ROW
UNDER THE SKIN
"THE MAKING OF THICKSKIN"

By J Rock

Review: Back in the day.. Skid Row and Pantera always had the funniest home videos I've ever seen! Well the guys decided to video tape the recording process with new singer Johnny Solinger.. for the album Thickskin, and like the good ol' days, this one kicks ass.. tons of hanging out footage, along with great interviews of the guys along the way... They also make video of the newer songs, out of live clips... The DVD also explains the process of finding Johnny.. etc. This is a must have for any fan.. It also has extra footage of Johnny cooking, Rachel racing, and all the other wacky stuff the guys like to do...

Favorite Part of the DVD: I'd say all of the recording process stuff.. I used to love to hang out in recording studios while bands record.. and this has some great footage... also love all the funny hanging out stuff..

Least favorite part: None..

Case: None.. just the cover.. and when you open it.. not even a booklet :(

Fan Reviews:

OK had to pick up this Dvd.
The band is not the same without Sebastian Bach.
Overall it's a Good Dvd. It's defiantly a New Group
that does not sound like the Skid Row most of us grew up with.
The  song  New Generation sounds very similar to
Marlin Mansions Beautiful People but better.
One Light,Gost & See You Around a memorable songs
and show case the band in a modern state.
The Song Thick is the Skin is the High Light of this Dvd.
I Remember You Two is cool & better than The Atari's Punk
Version.
Longer Live footage would have been cool.
