I'm going to do
a rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: At first listen, I didn't like this cd at all.. not sure why, maybe I was just in a mood that day.. or maybe it was the different style, that George decided to portray this time around.. no DOkken / Lynch Mob style here.. this is a c.d. full of cover songs, but very obscure covers, not the same ol' same ol'.. which in turn makes another whole side of George shine.. Everything from the Southern rock sound.. to some awesome bluesy licks.. This c.d covers some of the many "older" influences that George grew up on.. everything from Bob Dylan .. Grand Funk, Mountain, Captain Beyond, to some ZZ Top... George has always been my favorite guitarist, so I'm glad I gave this one a few more spins before writing this.. so if your a fan, its definitely worth a listen.. and like me, you may get turned onto some new (old)bands/songs..
Favorite track: Hmm.. love how he does "All Along the Watchtower", also love the bluesy feel of "I Want You/She's So Heavy".. "Bridge of Sighs" is another groovy track.. makes me feel like I'm trippin'...
Least favorite: Can't say I really have a non favorite.. it's interesting to hear his older influences, and they sound great... but I think the second half of the cd drags a little... but all the songs kick ass.. no complaints here....
Booklet: Done very well.. love the mysterious cover.. George looks cool.. the inside is all the listing of songs, along with George explaining why he picked the songs... also has band line-up, credits.. and thanks.. good job..
