Review: Bobby Borg came to me and told me I needed to check out this book he had just written, being that he is a former drummer for Warrant, I figured it would fit right in with the site. I didn't expect to learn too much more then I had kinda figured out through the years of being around a lot of bands.. but boy I was wrong.. this book should be handed out when kids buy their first instrument, with hopes of being a rock star! It's easy to read... doesn't talk over your head.. and covers every single angle of being in a band, from what happens when a band member leaves.. who owns the name.. who's still responsible for the money owed.. to all the legal odds and ends.. wayy more then I thought the band members had to worry about, also along the way there is a ton of examples and website links to check out.. all in all this is a MUST have book for anyone interested in getting into the music Business, there is no wasted time talking about un-useful things.. and the best part is this is coming from someone who has lived it.. not someone who is just guessing or pointing you in all the wrong directions.. I know it woke me up about a lot of things......
Layout: The book is 277 pages of 100% info.. easy to access chapters, for exactly what your interested in.. and a full Index in the back of just about every band or topic mentioned..
