4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will have to get used to it..

HOUSE OF LORDS
THE POWER AND THE MYTH

By Spidey

Review: Well it's been a long time coming for this c.d. to come out, all though the line-ups seem to change through the years.. the true House of Lords sound stays in tact. It has taken years for this c.d. to finally see the light of day.. but it's worth it.. the powerful vocals, and thick melodic sound is as good as ever on this new effort. The production is perfect.. and the musicianship is right on... I do wish there were some more chorus catchy heavier songs.. but hey.. maybe the next one? and maybe we won't have to wait almost a decade to hear it... Old fans should enjoy it, mainly because no one ever know if we would hear from them again.. new fans should enjoy it for the melodic sound. Some of the guitar work is very trippy.. almost Zeppelin sounding, in "Am I the Only One?"... and on other tracks just smokes with fast fretted work..  Check out some tracks, and you decide.

Favorite Song: "Today" starts off the c.d. with a great powerful kick.. and I love the instrumental "The Power and the Myth" almost Dream Theatre sounding..

Least Favorite Song: "Child of Rage".. just didn't thrill me, great lyrics.. etc. but just didn't catch me.

Booklet: N/A Promo .. But the cover sticks to the House of Lords type album cover.. Cool stuff..
