I'm going to do
a rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: Again I got another "greatest hits" kind of release.. This one is called "The Essential" and that it is! Iron Maiden is one of the biggest power metal, heavy metal, hard rock bands of their time.. They have it all.. powerful lyrics, amazing musicians, full thick sounding guitars.. and just straight ahead pound your fist metal.. I don't even need to go on about Maiden.. you just need to have this release.. It has all the "Essential" songs....
Favorite song(s): I'm just going to cheat and pick all my favorite Maiden songs.. "Fear of the Dark", Wasted Years" .. I'll never forget the first time I heard this song on Mtv's Heavy Metal Half Hour.. great riff.. "Run to the Hills"
Least favorite song(s): "Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter" this song never really got me... or maybe I didn't get it..lol
Booklet: Cool cover.. few pictures through the years.. and writing credits for every song.. Also a cool story written by Lonn Friend (RIP Magazine editor)
