I'm going to do a rating system on
where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: Well first off you have to crank this one to 10 just to listen to it. WOW! I've been a fan of these guys since day one also.. but then again if I'm reviewing them on here, I've been a fan forever.. anyway... this is a much heavier album then I've heard in a while.. GREAT STUFF.. makes me wanna go out and kick somebody's ass.... I miss this great straight ahead rock-n-roll, when you can go to a concert.. drink some beer and let loose!.. and again Jessie has teamed up with Brian Johnson from AC/DC to write "Kill the Sunshine" with.. but no guest singing with him, like in the past.. and of coarse there is a song with the famous chainsaw.. "Billy Badass" which is another great song! So any past fans.. you won't be disappointed, unless of coarse you expected anything less...Jackyl is the epitome of kick ass rock n roll..
Favorite Track: Or tracks.. in this case.."If You Want it Heavy" and this is heavy.. and to think ..I keep picking the first songs on the c.d. .. but this one just kicks ass! and as far as a mellow one.. or as mellow as Jackyl can be.. "Down This Road Before" is great! pure old style southern rock.. I'd love to hear them do more like this....
Least Favorite: "Vegas Smile".. although.. it's about strippers.. I should love it.. considering I love strippers.. just to "happy" for this album...
Booklet: YES.. Finally a big ol' fold out.. with a ton of pictures.. 4 pages, with all the lyrics, each member.. live pictures..etc. this is the way it should be done!
