I'm going to do a
rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: Hooks, Hooks, Hooks, attitude, and greasy hair. Jet is that band that you may have been lucky enough to see on MTV2 with their trippy/sketched out video for "Are You Gonna Be My Girl". The riff is ripped off from Iggy Pop's Lust for Life - but who cares, they work it and make it their own. The whole album is filled with what you'd expect, respectable rock in roll. They offer some diversity and include some quality mellow/ballad tunes. They pull their sound from the best of Rock's forefathers, and their influences are obvious at times (i.e. The Stones, Aerosmith, AC/DC) but they are so much fun that you don't mind. It's just nice to hear some younger bands recognizing that Rock N' Roll is best when it's delivered loud and with a sneer. These guys sound like they would put on a great live show, so go see them when they come to your town.
Favorite Songs: "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and "Cold Hard Bitch"
Least Favorite Songs: "Radio Song" and "Timothy"
