Review: This is an interesting c.d. .. one I'm sure allot of people would have never thought would have seen the light of day.. This is actually the "lost" Julliet demos that were recorded before the release they had on a major label.. and this was produced by none-other then Kevin Dubrow (Quiet Riot) and even has Frankie Banalli (Quiet Riot) on drums.. but you can really hear the difference between this release and the one that came out on Enigma .. I hear allot of Kevin's influence on this.. almost a Quiet Riot 2... it's very 80's sounding.. and I'm sure if I heard this in the 80's it would fit perfect.. the only thing saving this is the fact Kenny McGee is a great song writer.. weather it's for a fun rocker like "Boys Will Be Boys" to the slow ballads like "Baby Blue" he can do it all.. I'm just glad they beefed up the sound for the first release.. BUT wait till the new stuff comes out.. This is a fun release for all those die-hard fans.. and anyone into the "80's rock sound" Keel.. Quiet Riot.. etc..
Booklet: Cool cover.. one of my favorite pics of the guys.. then unfolds to a 3 page lay out of the 4 members.. very cool.. but.. Frankie isn't pictured.. the drummer that came in later is.. so that may confuse some people.. BUT I love pictures.. so I'm just glad they are there.. along with recoding credits.. So its all good....
Favorite Song: Well I love how it kicks in with "Love Hungry Man".. and I like "Still I'm Dreaming" catchy grooves and melody.. and "She's So Shy" ..
Least Favorite Song: hmmm.. "Lost and Lonely"... didn't thrill me, but it's hard to say, cause this is a very old recording.. so its not all "beefed" up like it would.. and could be.. and I really don't like "Mind Over Matter" the keyboards and drum samples........ no. And I sound like I'm ragging on this c.d... I'm not saying it's not a good c.d., the songs are what's making it a 3 star.. if this had come out this year.. it would get 2 or maybe 1 star, cause it just wouldn't fit with music now a days.. but for the time it was recoded its GREAT!
