I'm going to do a rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will have to get used to it..

JULLIET
PSYCHO BOYFRIEND

Review: This c.d. is the return of the Julliet boys.. full reunion.. and it rocks! no more 80's hair band poppy stuff here, this rocks lyrically and musically from beginning to end, Kenny has grown as a song writer every album he releases, the songs that are heavier, are raw and edgy, and the ballads, are soft and emotional.. He talks about everything from family, to relationships.. to good ol sex.. in "Black Book" each song has it's own identity, from straight a head rock n roll.. to slower bluesy guitars in "Leave a Light On" .. the c.d. is great from beginning to end... These guys are back and playing out live at a few Florida shows, and not to be missed, the line-up live is different from the c.d. but the energy is still as strong and raw as the release... If your a Julliet fan from the past, you will be surprised on the maturing of the sound, and if you weren't a fan, give them a chance this time around, they are not the run of the mill 80's band, trying to make a come back.. They have come back.. and they are ready to kick your ass! Make sure you pick this one up when it comes out!

Favorite Song: "Black Book", I saw this song performed live last year during a show with Great White, and it just kicked ass! But I love all the songs they all hold their own.. and Kenny sings ballads great...

Least Favorite Song: hmmm.. again.. I'm stuck.. I can't find anything I really "don't" like.. but if I have to pick.. "Rachel" just isn't growing on me..

Booklet: N/A.. this was a burned copy of the soon to be released c.d.

Fan reviews:

I have had the divine pleasure of seeing Julliet perform and I am here to tell you that there is NO ONE that has the stage presence that Kenny McGee has. He captivates you right from the start! And Jimmi Delisi, well show me someone that can play the strings like he does! Psycho Boyfriend is by far well worth cranking up! There is something about "Little Black Book" that draws you into the song..and "Black Sky", listen and you will find out for yourself....come on people crank up your volume and listen! I last saw these guys at Bourbon Street, where in my opinion they should have played all night! They keep you on your feet rockin' throughout the entire show! And that is what Rock music is all about! If you can't feel their music then you must be dead!
All my best to the Julliet family,
-TJ
