I'm going to do a
rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: Wow.. this c.d. starts and the music rocks.. but then this voice starts, and I thought it was a joke.. it sounds like a death metal singer, singing to a rock band from the 80's, and damn this music is good.. but I just don't get this singer.. I've sat through the c.d. about 4-5 times, thinking it will change my mind.. but it's not growing on me.. I can tell this guy would sound good if he wasn't trying to sound like he's about ready to kill someone.. especially when he sings the ballads the same way... and damn I hate writing bad reviews.. but I can't get past that voice......... (p.s. the only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of one.. is the music is really good.. even the lyrics.. but WTF is up w/the vocals!) I've checked out a few reviews of these guys, of the first c.d... and they are getting great reviews for being a new breed of sleeze rock.. w/80's bands influences, but I guess I'm just not getting it.. Sorry guys... NEXT.
Favorite song: Hmm... Not sure I can pick one.. I know I like the guitar work in "Bruise" .. "Passing Through" is pretty good.. vocals are not as annoying ..
Least Favorite Song: "Dust it Off" .. "Drown" his vocals are too noticable.
Booklet: Unfolds to 3 pages.. has all the lyrics.. and some really hard to see pictures of each guy.. not much to it.. my favorite color is blue.. so that's the best part about it..
