I'm going to do a
rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: This would be my first time hearing Mars Electric.. and it's something new and refreshing.. It has the "new" pop, rock sound.. very edgy and raw.. yet very full sounding.. (if that makes any sense) They fit in with the Butch Walker, SR-71's.. The heavy stuff has great grooves, and Jacobs vocals sound like he's giving it 110%.. Only thing I can say is sometimes the songs sound a lot alike.. if I'm not paying attention.. I can't even tell it's the next track... All in all this is a great straight ahead rock n roll cd.. reminds me a lot of the "fun" c.d's in the 80's.. nothing earth shattering in the lyrics, just real life feelings.. which is missing these days.. I'll have t go backwards and check out the first c.d. new.. great stuff!
Favorite Song: For sure "Descend" I can listen to it over and over for hours.. mellow.. depressing ballad.. gotta love it.. and I'm all about lyrical content.. so it's all good.. Vocals are amazing, and the music just glides along w/it.. Perfect.. Love the faster "Did I Say Too Much" .. great party song..
Least Favorite Song:.. Hmm don't think I have one... "Disco King" had to grow on me though...
Booklet: Huge booklet , at least 10 pages, with lyrics of all the songs, and great individual pictures of each member, which is nice, since I had no idea what they looked like.. They look really young in these pictures.. and the music sounds so mature.. good stuff!
