Review: It's not always easy to review instrumental c.d.'s.. but I'm presently surprised with this.. I guess since he played in Megadeth.. I pictured something completely different.. but this c.d. shows me another side of Marty.. lots of crunchy grooves, that get your feet stomping.. then has the incredible soloing over the top of it.. and hints of industrial in the drumming.. I couldn't even categorize this if I had to.. but anyone who is a fan of Marty is going to love it.. Its new and fresh.. and full of melody...
Booklet: Very cool cover.. neat effect on the picture of Marty.. unfolds to 2 pages.. with thanks and recording credits.. not much to it.. one black and white picture on the back...
Favorite Song: This is another hard one.. but right off the bat I loved "Gimmie a Dose" and "Its the Unreal Thing" .. both faster.. heavy grooves.. amazing playing..
Least Favorite Song: Well If I have to pick one that didn't thrill me off the bat, I'd have to say "Cheer Girl Rampage" it's just a little too fast of playing for me.. don't get me wrong.. hes amazing.. I just can't listen to a beat, and soloing going that fast.. but.. I do love the background sounds to that song!
