I'm going to do
a rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review:
This is a great collection of songs.. and as it says.. Stripped, they are all
acoustic, and sound great, some are old recordings, and some are new, rare
tracks.. It's better then a "Monster Ballads" type c.d. cause some of these
songs, just jam acoustic... anyone that is a fan of these 80's hair bands.. will
love this c.d...
Here is a break down of the songs...
Poison.. "Every Rose" from Mtv unplugged... great
version, but this song is done acoustic most the time..
Night Ranger "Sister Christian" new recording of
this classic.. great stuff!
Scorpions "Wind of Change" from Acoustica Live, one
of the best sounding recordings on here.. these guys always sound perfect!
Cinderella "Don't Know What You Got Till its Gone"
this is just Tom singing this and it's just amazing.. buy the c.d. for this
alone!
Queensryche "Silent Lucidity" from Mtv unplugged..
great song, great sound...
Extreme "More Than Words"...... This is different
then any version I've heard, it's done with only congas.. wish these guys never
broke up.
Warrant "I Saw Red".. same version I hear Jani do
alll the time..
Tesla "The Way it Is".. hmm this is from a live c.d...
great song choice.. just a bit on the raw.. "live" side..
Winger "Miles Away" sang by Kip alone... AWESOME
version!
L.A.Guns "Ballad of Jane"... great new
recording of the song.. another must have..
White Lion.. "When the Children Cry" .. another one
sang solo.. Go Mike.. love this version..
Firehouse "When I Look Into Your Eyes", this
is on the Great Acoustics album.. Glad they picked this one instead of "Love of
a Lifetime"
Slaughter.. "Fly to the Angels" always a great
song... but wish they would have had a new version..
Alias "More Than Words Can Say".. new recording,
great ballad..
Great White "Save Your Love".. Live at the Palms...
Another new recording, and a must have..
So all in all, just go out and
get this new release, since who knows when we will get anymore releases from
these, "Hair Bands"
Favorite Song: "Don't Know What You Got Till it's Gone", "Miles Away", I love the new recorded tracks...
Least Favorite Song: "The Way it Is" not sure why.. maybe cause its TOO live.. very raw.. still love this band though
Booklet: Pretty basic.. has the Metal Mania logo.. and folds out to credits.. but I don't like how there is a picture of Paul Stanley on the back cover, when there isn't even a Kiss song on here... lol
