3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will

PISSING RAZORS
EVOLUTION

Review: Pissing Razors belong on FUSE's Uranium and on MTV2's new Headbanger's Ball. If they haven't already been put on heavy rotation on these heavy formats, they should be, they would fit right in. With a name like "Pissing Razors" you have to expect an angry and angst filled sound. On first listen I would compare P.R. to Hatebreed and Chimaira. The majority of the songs offer that galloping guitar, which is reinforced by a ruthless drummer who works in impressive time changes and maintains some relentless double bass. Thankfully Slipknot created a metal sound that made it acceptable for a hardcore vocalist to not only scream but to also sing. Andre Acosta walks that line well throughout the album. Honestly, every song on Evolution is fury filled and pit ready! If you are a fan of the brutality offered up by this genre of metal, get this album and prepare to be bludgeoned!
Favorite song: The Threshold
Least Favorite song: Takedown, and the album is fairly short, only 36:44.
