I'm going to do a
rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: Let me put this band into perspective for you. If you are the type of metal fan who enjoyed thrash and hardcore punk just as much as metal, than this review may be worth your time, otherwise, stop here and check out the latest Great White/Jack Russell release (they could use your support). For those of you still with me, I picked up Pro-Pain's Foul Taste of Freedom album 10 years ago and was pleasantly surprised to find that Gary Meskil of the Crumbsuckers had resurfaced. I finally saw them live at a dive bar here in Tampa called The Brass Mug, back in 1995. These guys always walked the line between Motorhead and Agnostic Front, and whenever they released an album, you could count on an honest brutal assault with blistering vocals. On this release, they show respect to some of their influences. No lie, it's one of the strongest cover albums that I have ever heard. They never stray very far from the originals, which leaves me wishing for more creativity on their part at times, but I also appreciate that they honor the integrity of the originals. They thing that really works for this album is that Gary and Eric Klinger share vocal duties and the diversity works for them. Prepare for more of the same from Pro-Pain, but recognize that this band had consistently delivered, and continue to do so.
Favorite song: Terpentin (original by Bohse Onkelz - B.O.), Weeds (original by Life of Agony), and Your Mistake (original by Agnostic Front)
Least Favorite song: Nothing (original by Negative Approach), this one just doesn't stand out
