I'm going to do a
rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Review: I've been listening to this one over and over... I like it, just not as much as some of the older Queensryche stuff.. not sure why, it's just not blowing me away.. It seems very average for them, and I find the second half of the c.d. to be better, I'm not sure if it's cause it's more of the ballad type songs, which Geoff just sounds amazing doing... or if its just better songs, the first song "Open" sound really old school Queensryche.. unlike some of the other songs which seem to be more in the vein of Promised Land.. etc. I'm not saying this is a bad c.d. by any means, it's just not the best I've heard from them.. they need to push them

Favorite Song: Well I'm a sucker for Geoff singing the slower stuff... so I love "Falling Behind" but the other rocker songs are good too.. "Desert Dance" "Rhythm of Hope" even "Tribe" is good..
Least Favorite Song: Well so much of these start to just sound mid-tempo and almost like the same songs...going on and on.. but I'm such a big fan of the band.. I can't pick a song that I don't like.. just wish this was a stronger release..

I have been a fan of
Queensryche for a long time and keep hoping they will get back to rocking...
"Tribe" sounds an awful lot like "Q2K" to me, which I didnt
like at all.
But the first song "Open" is in my opinion the best thing they've done
since the "Empire" album! Even though
I dont care much for the rest of the cd, that song by itself was worth the
money.
I think if the radio stations would play it it would be a minor hit.- giveup432@aol.com
