Review: I have been waiting since this album came out to get my hands on this.. I was a huge Extreme fan, love Nuno's other projects.. and was hoping after the disappointing Van Halen album, this would be a big return for Gary.. and I was NOT let down.. first off.. it has former Extreme members Pat, and Mike on bass and drums, so that was a bonus. This guitar player has big shoes to fill since Gary has played with both Nuno and Eddie Van Halen.. but Leo Mellace is making a name for himself.. his solos RIP! The album is full of big bass, tons of keyboards, that add the industrial feel, and great straight ahead rock! It almost have an ambiance about it.. with some chanting in the background, which Gary's vocals fit right in with. This c.d. is one of the best, and freshest sounding releases this year.. if your a fan of Gary's or just looking for something new.. don't pass this one up!
Booklet: I'm not sure how to take this cover.. It's a little disturbing if you ask me.. but who am I to say.. lol... anyway, it unfold to 3 pages, with all the lyrics to the songs, which is a big plus, along with more pictures of Gary with the gun, there is some credits, and only one thank you, which is to everyone.. Its an ok cover.. but I really hate how dark the bands name is on the cover.. people are going to think they are called Exit Elvis..
Favorite Song: Love how the whole album just kicks in with the first track "Left for Dead".. awesome song! Gary just screams! Also like the rocker "Thanks for Nothing".. his voice is just memorizing...
Least Favorite Song: Can't say I dislike any of them.. This is a great album... but if I had to pick one , I don't like the synth sound in the background of "Celibate".. it's all I hear.. and gets on my nerves.. otherwise great song..
