I'm going to do
a rating system on where this c.d. will end up in my household..
1 Star.. Straight to Ebay.
2 Stars... It will sit on my "older" c.d. rack to collect dust.
3 Stars.... It will stay in my "listen to rack" to go through every once in a
while.
4 Stars.... It will be in my computer while I'm working.
5 Stars.. It will be cranking through the house.. and car.. my girlfriend will
have to get used to it..

Live... In the Raw

Review: Well this is a great c.d. to start off the good ol' hair-band day reviews... All though, I don't believe this c.d. to be very "live" because it sounds "perfect".. so I look at it more like a greatest hits from the guys at that time.. they do all singles, and then some... you get the raw gritty songs, all the way to the slower almost balled of "Sleeping (In the Fire)" .. (well as much of a ballad as W.A.S.P. could do...) Fans of the band... I'm sure already own it, if not.. it's a great classic must have, and for new fans.. this is where you need to start, to find out what the W.A.S.P. hype was all about... It's funny to thing back in the day.. this was HEAVY METAL.. and the P.M.R.C. was all over these guys, now a days the music REALLY is scary.. and they REALLY do talk about death, killing, suicide.. etc. crazy how times change............
Favorite tracks: I like the ones with less crowd screams, only cause I can tell how fake they are.... some stand outs are "Wild Child" "I Don't Need No Doctor".. "Sleeping (In the Fire)".. "I Wanna Be Somebody".. They all sound great....
Least favorite tracks:.. Hmm can't say I dislike any of them... just dislike how much it was touched up in the studio.. all though it makes it more fun to listen to cause it sounds great.. but I was never a big fan of "9.5 - Nasty".. so I guess I'll pick that one...
Booklet: Great stuff.. mine still has that "new" c.d. smell.. and it's from 1987, the book is full of pictures, live and candid.. couple pages.. short and to the point..
